RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Wainuiomata Sewerage Reticulation (Extension to Boundaries) Additional Loan 1963, £29,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hutt County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £29,000 authorised to be raised by the Hutt County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the re-funding to the Hutt County Council County Fund Account of payments made from that account for the purposes of the Wainuiomata Sewerage Reticulation to Boundaries Loan 1958, such expenditure having been validated by legislation, the said Hutt County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·416d. (four hundred and sixteen one-thousandths of one penny) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the No. 56B special rating area, being portion of the Wainuiomata Riding of the County of Hutt; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WAIROA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Reticulation Loan 1962, £20,000

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, at a meeting of the Wairoa Electric Power Board held on the 18th day of February 1963, the following resolution was passed:

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wairoa Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:

“That for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £20,000 authorised to be raised by the Wairoa Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of supplying and distributing electrical energy for the benefit of the Wairoa Electric Power District, and for such purpose to do all or any of such matters and things which this Board is empowered to do by the Electric Power Boards Act 1925 and its amendments, and by all other powers and authorities it enabling, the said Wairoa Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate of point nought four six of one penny (0·046d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Wairoa Electric Power District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on the first day of June in every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

SHANNON BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Water Supply Completion Loan 1963, £3,800

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Shannon Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of three thousand eight hundred pounds (£3,800) authorised to be raised by the Shannon Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of improving the water supply and further reticulating the borough, the said Shannon Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·49069d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Shannon; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

MACKENZIE COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Mackenzie County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £10,000 authorised to be raised by Mackenzie County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers to enable them to erect dwellings on their properties under the provisions of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Mackenzie County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·0267d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the whole of the County of Mackenzie; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 26th day of July and the 26th day of January in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
