PURSUANT to section 2 of the Coroners Act 1951, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint Alexander James Lloyd Martin, Esquire, of Ranfurly, to be a Coroner for New Zealand, vice Thomas Alexander Gilchrist, Esquire, resigned.

Appointment of Licensing Authority to Review Certain Licences
PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 115 of the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby appoints the licensing authority for the Auckland Transport District as the proper licensing authority to exercise jurisdiction in respect of a review of the licences described in the Schedule hereto to be carried out pursuant to a direction under section 142 (2) of the said Act.
SCHEDULE
ALL continuous taxicab service licences in the Auckland Transport District and in the Boroughs of Devonport, Takapuna, Northcote, and Birkenhead, and in that part of the Waitemata County south of a line drawn from Hellyers Creek to the Junction of Sunset Road and the Main North Road, thence by Sunset Road to the East Coast Road.
