PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

1. (1) This order may be cited as the Ruahine Rabbit District Order 1963.
   (2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
2. The boundaries of the Ruahine Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 1st day of February 1963,* are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.

BOUNDARIES OF THE RUAHINE RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, Borough of Feilding, Counties of Oroua, Kiwitea, and Pohangina, part Counties of Rangitikei and Woodville, containing 565,300 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Rangitikei River in line with the north-eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 19528, in Block XII, Rangitoto Survey District, and proceeding generally north-easterly up the middle of that river to its confluence with the Kawhatau River; thence generally easterly up the middle of that river to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 5, Block VI, Ruahine Survey District; thence generally northerly to and along the generally eastern boundary of that section and the southern boundary of Lot 2 of Section 2, Block II, Ruahine Survey District, to Trig. Station H (Colenso), along a right line to Trig. Station C (Check), and along the generally north-eastern boundary of Section 1, Block XIV, Pukeokahu Survey District, and its production to and up the middle of the Rangitikei River to a point on a right line between Trig.
