In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter
of Hamilton Engineers Ltd., a company duly incorporated
in New Zealand and having its registered office in the
City of Hamilton and carrying on business as engineers.

NOTICE is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court
of New Zealand dated the 6th day of December 1962 con-
firming the reduction of capital of the above-named company
from ten thousand pounds (£10,000) to three thousand pounds
(£3,000), and the minute approved by the Court showing,
with respect to the capital of the company as altered, the
several particulars required by the the above-mentioned Act,
was registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 20th
day of December 1962. The said minute is in the words and
figures following:

“The capital of Hamilton Engineers Ltd. is £3,000 divided
into 10,000 fully paid ordinary shares of 6s. each having been
reduced from £10,000 divided into 10,000 ordinary shares of
£1 each fully paid.”

WAIMATE ENGINEERING CO. LTD.

PURSUANT to section 284 of the Companies Act 1955, notice
is hereby given that a meeting of the Waimate Engineering Co.
Ltd. will be held on the 4th day of February 1963 at 8.45 a.m.,
at which meeting a resolution for voluntary winding up is to
be proposed; and that a meeting of creditors of the company
will be held, pursuant to section 284 of the Companies Act
1955, at the office of d'A. Stanley Grut, Public Accountant,
Waimate, on the 4th day of February 1963 at 9 a.m., at which
meeting a full statement of the position of the company’s
affairs together with a list of the creditors and the estimated
amount of their claims will be laid before the meeting, and
at which meeting the creditors, in pursuance of section 285 of
the said Act, may nominate a person to be liquidator of the
company, and in pursuance of section 286 of the said Act
may appoint a committee of inspection.

Diners Club Proprietary Ltd. hereby gives notice, pursuant to

have a place of business in New Zealand.

The business at present carried on by Diners Club (New
Zealand) Ltd. is in no way affected by the publication of
this notice.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Roads Sealing Loan 1962, £100,000 – £40,000 First Portion
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Rodney County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £40,000 authorised to be raised by the Rodney
County Council under the provisions of the Local Authorities
Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of financing portion of
Council’s share of the cost in respect to the preparation and
sealing of roads in accordance with the National Roads Board
“Five Year Road Sealing Programme for Northland”, the said
Rodney County Council hereby makes and levies a special
rate of decimal 360 pence in the pound upon the unimproved
value of all rateable property in the County of Rodney; and
that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate
during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the
1st day of April in each and every year during the currency
of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is
fully paid off.”

GISBORNE CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Gisborne City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a supplementary loan of £560 authorised to be raised by the
Gisborne City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of completing the purpose for which the Pensioners’
Flats Loan 1961 of £5,600 was sanctioned, the said Gisborne
City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·002d. in the
pound upon the unimproved value of all rateable property
within the City of Gisborne; and that such special rate shall
be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan
and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and
every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of
30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WANGANUI CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pensioners’ Flats Loan 1962 of £27,700

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Wanganui City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the half-yearly instal-
ments of principal and interest on a loan of £27,700 authorised
to be raised by the Wanganui City Council under the above-
mentioned Act for the purposes of providing accommodation
for aged persons, the said Wanganui City Council hereby
makes and levies a special rate of 0·049 of a penny in the
pound upon the rateable value, on the basis of the unimproved
value, of all rateable property in the City of Wanganui, com-
prising the whole of the City of Wanganui, the boundaries
whereof are defined in the Gazettes of the 14th day of March
1957, No. 22, at pages 485 and 486, of the 29th day of
August 1957, No. 62, at page 1579 of the 9th day of January
1958, No. 2 at page 16, of the 21st day of August 1958, No.
52, at page 1104, of the 23rd day of February 1961, No. 14,
at page 324, and of the 18th day of May 1961, No. 33, at
page 704; and that such special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be pay-
able yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year
during the currency of such loan, being a period of 30 years
from the date of the raising of the loan, or until the loan is
fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed
at the meeting of the Wanganui City Council held on the
17th day of January 1963.
