NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of
the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the
30th day of April 1963, presented to the said Court by Mavis
Jean Kelly, of Auckland, in New Zealand, married woman;
and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the
Court sitting at Auckland on Friday, the 31st day of May
1963, at 10 a.m., and any creditor or contributory of the said
company desirous to support or oppose the making of an
order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing
in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of
the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any
creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy
on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

by the person or firm, or his or their solicitor (if any), and
must be served or, if posted, must be sent by post in sufficient
time to reach the above-named petitioner's address for service
not later than 4 p.m. on Thursday, the 30th day of May 1963.

PURSUANT to section 405 of the Companies Act 1955, Aveling-
Barford Ltd., of Invicta Works, Grantham, England, hereby
gives notice of its intention to cease to have a place of business
in New Zealand after the 31st day of July 1963. Aveling-
Barford (N.Z.) Ltd. will carry on business in its place and

PAPATOETOE BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Papatoetoe Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a
loan of three thousand and six hundred pounds (£3,600)
authorised to be raised by the Papatoetoe Borough Council
under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing
a new fire appliance, the said Papatoetoe Borough Council
hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought three three
and six pence (0.0336d.) in the pound upon the rateable
value of all rateable property within the Borough of Papa-
tototee; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring
rate during the currency of the loan payable on the 1st day
of August for each and every year during the currency of the
loan, being a period of seven (7) years, or until the loan is
fully paid off.”

NELSON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it
in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Nelson City Council hereby resolves:
“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other
charges on a loan of £10,300, to be known as the Tahunanui
Drainage Renewal Loan 1963, authorised to be raised by the
Nelson City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of providing on maturity that portion of the Tuhuna-
nui Drainage Loan 1950, £54,000, which matures on the 1st
day of June 1963, the said Nelson City Council hereby makes
and levies a special rate of one-sixteenth of a penny (¼d.)
in the pound upon the rateable value (on a basis of the unim-
proved value) of all the rateable property in the City of
Nelson, comprising the whole of the said city; and such
special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the
currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of
August in each and every year during the currency of the
loan, being a period of 10 years, or until such loan is paid off.”
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed by
the Nelson City Council at a meeting held in the City Council
Chamber, Trafalgar Street, Nelson, on the 22nd day of April
1963.

BOROUGH OF CAMBRIDGE
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Cambridge Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing annual charges for a
loan of £102,540 authorised to be raised by the Cambridge
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of increasing the supply, storage, and delivery of
water to the borough, the said Cambridge Borough Council
hereby makes a special rate of one point seven two one pence
(1.721d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis
of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the
Borough of Cambridge; and that the said special rate shall be
an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and
be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every
year during the currency of the loan or until the loan is
fully paid off.”
The foregoing resolution was duly passed at a meeting of
the Cambridge Borough Council held on the 1st day of May
1963.
