NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and
in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Nelson City Council pro-
poses, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to
execute a certain public work namely, the acquisition of land
for the preservation of amenities in the city and for such
purpose the lands described in the Schedule hereto, which are
occupied by a decadent building, are required to be taken.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public
work or by the taking of such lands who have any well-
grounded objections to the execution of the said public work
or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections
in writing and send same, within 40 days from the first
publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk at the Council
Chambers, Trafalgar Street, Nelson.

Public Notification of Hawke’s Bay County District Scheme

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution
of the Hawke’s Bay County Council made on the 8th day of
April 1963, a district scheme has been recommended for
approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.
The scheme relates to the whole of the Hawke’s Bay County.
The scheme has been deposited in the Hawke’s Bay County
Council Office, Browning Street, Napier, and the Hawke’s
Bay County Council Office, Market Street Hastings, in accor-
dance with section 22 (1) of that Act, and is there open for
inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein at
any time when the above places are open to the public.

Objections to the scheme or to any part thereof shall be in
writing in form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the
Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and shall be
lodged at the office of the Council, Browning Street, Napier,
at any time not later than 4 p.m. on the 22nd day of July
1963. At a later date every objection will be open for public
inspection, and any person who wishes to support or oppose
any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of
objections if he notifies the County Clerk in writing within
the period of which public notice will be given.

Town and Country Planning Act 1953, of the subject-matter
of an application in the Borough of Whangarei consented to
by the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board under
section 35 of the said Act.

MOUNT WELLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Change of Mount Wellington District Scheme Approved

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations
1960, public notice is hereby given that a change of the
district scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act
1953 for the Borough of Mount Wellington relating to the
areas and matters set forth in the Schedule to this notice
was approved by the Mount Wellington Borough Council, by
resolution passed at its meeting held on the 1st day of April
1963, after all objections, appeals, and arbitrations relating
to the change of scheme had been disposed of and the
change of scheme had been amended to give effect to all
objections and appeals allowed.

The Council has also resolved that the change of scheme
shall come into operation on the 1st day of May 1963.

Copies of the change of scheme, as approved, and the
scheme itself, as amended by the change, have been deposited
in the Council’s office and may be inspected, without fee,
by any person who so requires at any time when the office
is open to the public.

Inviting Proposals for the Halswell District Scheme

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Halswell County
Council, at its meeting held on the 13th day of December
1962, has resolved to prepare for the Halswell County a
district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and
Country Planning Act 1953.

Every person concerned and every local authority in the
district, as defined by section 2 of the Act, is hereby invited
to submit full information as to the proposals (including
public works) which, in his or its opinion, should be
considered in the preparation of the scheme.

Proposals marked “Halswell District Scheme” should be
addressed to Davie, Lovell-Smith and Partners, and delivered
at our office, Dalgety’s Building, 22 Cathedral Square,
Christchurch, on or before the 27th day of August 1963.

recommended that the operative district scheme be changed
in respect of the matter listed in the Schedule hereto.

The change has been deposited in the office of the Hender-
son Borough Council, Thomas Street, Henderson, and is there
open for inspection, without fee, at any time when the office
is open to the public.
