MOUNT WELLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL

NOTICE OF PROPOSAL TO TAKE LAND FOR STREET

PURSUANT to section 22 of the Public Works Act 1928, notice
is hereby given that the Mount Wellington Borough Council
proposes to take for the purposes of a public street all that
piece of land containing 1·9 perches, more or less, being part
of Section 171 of Prescott Settlement, and being part of the
land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume
458, folio 118 (Auckland Registry), which is shown coloured
sepia on S.O. Plan 37129. The said plan is available for
public inspection at the Council office, Queens Road, Panmure,
between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday to Friday
inclusive.

Any persons objecting to the proposal are called upon to
lodge their objection in writing at the office of the Council
aforesaid on or before the 10th day of May 1963.

HOROWHENUA COUNTY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Public Notification of Variation No. 3 Waikanae Section—
County of Horowhenua District Scheme

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution
of the Horowhenua County Council made on the 13th day of
March 1963, a variation to Waikanae section of the district
scheme has been recommended for approval under the Town
and Country Planning Act 1953.

It is proposed to vary the scheme as follows:
(a) By deleting an area of 27 acres described as parts
Ngara ra West A 24A and 24B from the area zoned
residential and zoning the area rural.
(b) Substituting an area of 27 acres described as parts
Ngara ra West A 24A, 15B, 14B 2B at present zoned
rural and zoning the area residential.

This variation has been deposited at the County office,
Bath Street, Levin, and at the Waikanae and Waikanae Beach
post offices, and is there open for inspection, without fee, to
all persons interested therein at any time when the above
places are open to the public.

Objections to the variation of any part thereof shall be in
writing in the form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the
Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and shall be
lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than
the 17th day of July 1963.

At a later date every objection will be open for public
inspection, and any person who wishes to support or oppose
any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of
objections if he notifies the County Clerk in writing within
the period of which public notice will be given.

HENDERSON BOROUGH COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Change to Henderson District Scheme Approved

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations
1960, public notice is hereby given that the change to the
district scheme, pursuant to map Amendment No. 1, under
the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 for the Henderson
District was approved by Council by resolution passed at its
meeting held on the 19th day of March 1963, there being no
objections, appeals, or arbitrations relating to the said change.
The Council has also resolved that the said change shall
come into operation on the 11th day of April 1963.

Copies of the change, as approved, have been deposited
in the Council office, in the Public Library in the district,
and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so
requires at any time when these places are open to the public.

Change to the City of Christchurch Operative District Scheme,
Section One (Zoning)

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the under-mentioned change
to the district scheme for the City of Christchurch was
approved by the Council on the 20th day of March 1963,
and came into operation on the 1st day of April 1963.

Copies of the scheme change, as approved, have been
deposited in the Council offices, 194 Manchester Street, and
in the Public Library in the district affected, and may be
inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at
any time when these places are open to the public.

THE MINING ACT 1926

NOTICE is hereby given that Herbert Arthur Grigg has applied
on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen for a licence for a water
race commencing in Run 581, Block III, Lower Hawea
District, occupied by Cotsford Mathews Burdon, in an un-
named creek flowing into Lake Hawea approximately 1 mile
north of the Lake Hawea Control Dam at a point 6 chains
above Wanaka-Haast Main Highway; thence in a southerly
direction a distance of 30 chains to a second unnamed creek;
then ce in a southerly direction a distance of 35 chains to a
third unnamed creek; thence in a south-south-easterly direction
a distance of 15 chains; thence in an easterly direction a dis-
tance of 15 chains across the Wanaka-Haast Main Highway
and the Lake Hawea Control Dam and terminating at the
boundary of Section 28, Block IV, Lower Hawea District,
with right to divert ½ head by means of a pipeline from each
of the unnamed creeks referred to for domestic irrigation
and public water supply.

The application and all objections thereto will be heard
at 10 a.m. on the 22nd day of May 1963 at the Wardens
Court, Cromwell.
