Present: THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Education Board of the District of South Auckland (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.
CONDITIONS
IMPLIED CONDITIONS
- The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961 shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
2. This licence is issued under the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, and is subject thereto, and to the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and to all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.
SYSTEM OF SUPPLY
3. The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph (d) of Regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, and shall be an alternating-current system.
DURATION OF LICENCE
4. Unless sooner lawfully determined this licence shall continue in force until the 31st day of March 1984.
SCHEDULE
Lines for the supply of electrical energy by the system of supply hereinbefore described, commencing from the licensee's generator situated on part Lot 3, D.P. 9574 AK, part Section 3, Block XIV, Waiaua Survey District, and proceeding in a northerly direction generally to a house also situated on the said part Lot 3, and thence in a north-easterly direction across a public road to Toa Toa School situated in Block XV, Waiaua Survey District, in the County of Opotiki, the said lines and buildings being more particularly shown on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 602 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.

His Excellency the Governor-General has, pursuant to the Navy Act 1954, approved the following appointments, promotions, and terminations of appointment in the Royal New Zealand Navy.
Captain C. C. Stevens to be Second Naval Member, New Zealand Naval Board, and Chief of Naval Personnel in succession to Commodore L. S. Stanners, O.B.E., and to serve as Commodore whilst holding this appointment, to date 1 April 1963.
Commander J. P. S. Vallant granted the acting rank of Captain whilst holding present appointment, to date 18 February 1963.
Lieutenant Commander W. J. Brown to be released (age), to date 16 April 1963, and to be placed on the Retired List, to date 17 April 1963.
Lieutenant Commander A. D. Nelson granted the acting rank of Commander whilst holding present appointments, to date 25 February 1963.
Lieutenant Commander (SD) (Retd) E. H. Biggs, M.B.E., released (age), to date 23rd March 1963, and placed on the Retired List, to date 24 March 1963.
Lieutenant R. G. Franklin promoted to rank of Lieutenant Commander, to date 1 March 1963.
Lieutenant W. T. C. Heather to be released (at own request), to date 1 April 1963, and to be placed on the Emergency List, to date 2 April 1963.
