NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 35 (3) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 and regulation 32 (8) of the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, that, by decision dated 12 February 1963, the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board consented to the application of Mr A. E. Quin for a departure, under section 35 of the said Act, in respect of his property in Wallath Road, the substance and effect of the consent being to permit the subdivision of the land into two allotments, one of which contains less than 5 acres, viz, 3 roods.

TIMARU CITY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Review of the Timaru Borough Town Planning Scheme No. 1 and its Amendments

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Council made on the 25th day of March 1963, the date up to which objections may be made, which was extended as set out in public notice published in the Timaru Herald of the 21st and 29th days of December 1962, and the Gazette of the 10th day of January 1963, has been further extended from the 31st day of March 1963 to the 19th day of April 1963.

Objections therefore to the reviewed district scheme may be made by way of written notice in form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960 or to the like effect, marked "Objection to District Scheme", and lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than the 19th day of April 1963.

At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection. Any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will then be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within a period of which public notice will be given.

DUNEDIN METROPOLITAN REGIONAL PLANNING SCHEME

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Amendment No. 3, 1963

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that the Dunedin Metropolitan Regional Planning Scheme, Amendment No. 3, 1963, has been approved in accordance with the provisions of section 10 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 and amendments, and shall become operative on the 1st day of April 1963.

The amendment alters the zoning of two areas of land, each containing 4·2 acres, more or less, in the Borough of Green Island, one from "Industrial" to "Residential", and the other from "Residential" to "Industrial", as shown on map Reg. 7/A.

Copies of map Reg. 7/A have been deposited in the offices of the Dunedin Metropolitan Regional Planning Authority, the Dunedin City Council, the Boroughs of St. Kilda, Green Island, West Harbour, Port Chalmers, Mosgiel, the Counties of Taieri, Peninsula, Waikouaiti, and at the Dunedin Public Library, and may be inspected, without fee, at any time when these places are open to the public.

PALMERSTON NORTH CITY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Amendments to Parts of Palmerston North District Scheme

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Council made on the 25th day of February 1963, parts of the district scheme, as already operative, are to be amended and the Council has recommended for approval these amendments under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.

A plan of these amendments, as recommended by the Council, has been deposited at—

The Municipal Library, Fitzherbert Avenue, The Roslyn Library, Andrew Avenue, The Hokowhitu Library, Ascot Street, The Takaro Library, Botanical Road, The Municipal Chambers, The Square,

and is there open for inspection by all persons interested therein, without fee, at any time when the above places are open to the public.

Objections to the recommended amendments to the district scheme, which the Council proposes to approve, may be made by way of written notice in form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, or to the like effect, marked "Objection to District Scheme", and lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than 4 p.m. on Monday, 6 May 1963.

At a later date, every objection will be open for public inspection. Any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will then be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within a period of which public notice will be given.

The price of each Gazette varies and is printed thereon.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 12 o'clock of the day preceding publication.

Advertisements are charged at the rate of 9d. per line for the first insertion and 6d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertions.

The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand.

STATUTORY REGULATIONS

Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:

(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing) subscription £2 per calendar year in advance.

(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, 35s. per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and 1939–42 are out of print.)

(3) Separate regulations as issued.
