Special Conditions

  1. Persons holding valid game shooting licences for the Westland Acclimatisation District may, without taking out a further game licence, shoot in that portion of the Southern Lakes Acclimatisation District included in the Westland Land District. The conditions prescribed in this notification in respect of the Southern Lakes Acclimatisation District shall apply in this area.

Standard Cost of Production of Apples and Pears for the 1962–63 Season Declared (Notice No. Ag. 7721)

PURSUANT to section 15 of the Apple and Pear Marketing Act 1948, the Minister of Agriculture hereby declares the standard cost of production of apples and pears for the 1962–63 season to be 13s. 11·67d. per case of fruit which has been picked, graded, and dispatched to the depot, with a labour allowance for full wrapping and a material allowance for cases and local market labels only.

Return of Spirits Distilled in New Zealand

PURSUANT to section 99 of the Distillation Act 1908, I hereby publish the following information concerning spirits distilled in New Zealand:

(a) Number of imperial gallons of spirits at the strength of proof distilled in New Zealand received into bonded warehouses during the year ended 31 December 1962 = 360,328·5.
(b) Number of imperial gallons of such spirits at the strength of proof cleared and taken out of such warehouses for home consumption = 283,905·6.
(c) Number of imperial gallons of such spirits at the strength of proof cleared and taken out of such warehouses for export = 348·1.
(d) Number of imperial gallons of such spirits at the strength of proof remaining in such warehouses on the 31st day of December 1962 = 76,074·8.
