The scheme as now recommended by the Council has been deposited in (a) the Upper Hutt Borough Council Office, Main Road, Upper Hutt and (b) the Upper Hutt Public Library, Main Road, Upper Hutt, and is there for inspection by all persons interested therein, without fee, at any time when the above places are open to the public.
Objections to the proposed changes of the operative district scheme or in respect of any portion of the operative district scheme, which the Council proposes to confirm without any change, may be made by way of written notice in Form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulation 1960, or to the like effect marked “Objection to District Scheme” and lodged at the office of the Town Clerk not later than 4 p.m. on Friday, 31 May 1963.
At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection. Any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will then be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within a period of which public notice will be given.

BIRKENHEAD BOROUGH COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Public Notification of Birkenhead Borough District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Birkenhead Borough Council made on the 16th day of November 1960, a district scheme has been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The scheme relates to the Birkenhead Borough. The scheme has been deposited in the office of the Birkenhead Borough Council, Municipal Chambers, Highbury, and the Public Library, Highbury, in accordance with section 22 (1) of that Act and is there open for inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein at any time when the above places are open to the public.
Objections to the scheme or to any part thereof shall be in writing in form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and shall be lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than the 1st day of July 1963. At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection, and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within the period of which public notice will be given.
Public notice is also given that the Council will, by objection in form E aforesaid, propose certain changes in the said district scheme and that these proposals are shown in two maps, viz, Council Objection Plan B and Council Objection Plan C which are now open for public inspection. These maps do not form part of the district scheme.

PALMERSTON NORTH CITY COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Amendments to Parts of Palmerston North District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Council made on the 25th day of February 1963, parts of the district scheme, as already operative, are to be amended and the Council has recommended for approval these amendments under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.
A plan of these amendments, as recommended by the Council, has been deposited at—
The Municipal Library, Fitzherbert Avenue,
The Roslyn Library, Andrew Avenue,
The Hokowhitu Library, Ascot Street,
The Takaro Library, Botanical Road,
The Municipal Chambers, The Square,
and is there open for inspection by all persons interested therein, without fee, at any time when the above places are open to the public.
Objections to the recommended amendments to the district scheme, which the Council proposes to approve, may be made by way of written notice in form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, or to the like effect, marked “Objection to District Scheme”, and lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than 4 p.m. on Monday, 6 May 1963.
At a later date, every objection will be open for public inspection. Any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will then be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within a period of which public notice will be given.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 12 o’clock of the day preceding publication.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 9d. per line for the first insertion and 6d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertions.
The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand.
STATUTORY REGULATIONS
Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:
(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing) subscription £2 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, 35s. per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and 1939–42 are out of print.)
(3) Separate regulations as issued.
