Cancellation of the Vesting in the Southland County Council
and Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Chairman, Coun-
cillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Southland and re-
vokes the reservation for gravel purposes over the land
described in the Schedule hereto.

Authorising Comalco Power Ltd. to Use and Occupy a Part
of the Bed of Lake Manapouri as a Site for Floating Works
Jetty

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine
hereby licenses and permits Comalco Power Ltd. (hereinafter
called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or
assigns unless the context requires a different construction)
to use and occupy a part of the bed of Lake Manapouri, as
shown on plan marked M.D. 11396 and deposited in the office
of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of
erecting and maintaining a floating works jetty thereon, as
shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed
by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions
set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regula-
   tions 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so
   far as applicable, apply hereto.

2. The premium payable by the licensee shall be five pounds
   (£5) and the annual sum so payable five pounds (£5).

3. The term of this licence shall be 14 years from the 1st
   day of March 1963.

Licensing the East Coast Bays Borough Council to Use and
Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Bed of the Sea at
Murrays Bay, Hauraki Gulf, as a Site for a Wharf

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine
hereby licenses and permits the East Coast Bays Borough
Council (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall
include its successors or assigns unless the context requires
a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the
foreshore and bed of the sea at Murrays Bay, Hauraki Gulf,
as shown on plan marked M.D. 4539 and deposited in the
office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the pur-
pose of maintaining thereon a wharf, as shown on the said
plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon
and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the
Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regula-
   tions 1960 and the provisions of those regulations shall, so
   far as applicable, apply hereto.

2. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the date
   hereof.

3. The annual sum payable by the licensee shall be 1s.,
   payable on demand.

4. The master of every vessel discharging ballast at the
   said wharf shall have all such ballast taken away and deposited
   above high-water mark or at such place as may be approved
   by the Minister or by any person appointed by the Minister
   for that purpose.
