Releasing Land from the Provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Ngatimanawa Development Scheme)

Pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette the land described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of a notice dated 8 January 1937 and published in the Gazette, 21 January 1937, Volume I, page 243.

Road Closed by Order of the Maori Land Court

Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to section 425 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori Land Court had made an order, dated the 27th day of February 1958, firstly declaring that piece of road described in the First Schedule hereto to be a closed road, and secondly including the parts of such closed road described in the first column of the Second Schedule hereto in the titles to the lands set out in the second column of such Schedule respectively, and amending the instruments of title set out in the third column of such Schedule respectively so as to include such areas.

FIRST SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

All those areas of land in Block VII, Hokianga Survey District, Hokianga County, containing in all 8 acres 1 rood 13·3 perches, more or less, being those parts of road closed by the aforesaid order, and comprising those areas set out in the first column of the Second Schedule hereto; as the same are more particularly shown coloured green in plan MLC 14223 deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Auckland.
