Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for road purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for public buildings and other purposes of the General Government over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

ALL that parcel of land at Switzers Diggings known as the Court House and Police Camp Reserve, and being bounded towards the east by a line 183° 3', one thousand two hundred and sixty-two (1262) links; towards the south by lines 223° 13', seventy-five (75) links, 305° 39' 30", one hundred and eighty-three (183) links, 318° 57', one hundred and fifty-seven (157) links, 250° 52', two hundred and ninety-five (295) links; towards the west by a line 356° 23' 50", six hundred and thirty-five (635) links; and towards the north-west by a line 51° 29', eight hundred and eighty-four (884) links.

Change of the Purpose of a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby changes the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto from a reserve for a mechanics' institute and athenaeum to a reserve for a site for a public hall and library.

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for recreation purposes, and, further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, declares the said reserve to be a public domain, subject to the provisions of Part III of the last-mentioned Act, to form part of the Ngakawau-Hector Domain to be administered as a public domain by the Domain Board.
