Defining the Middle Line of a Portion of the Auckland-
Hamilton Motorway in Blocks III and IV, Drury Survey
District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act
1947, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that
the middle line of a motorway desired to be constructed in
Blocks III and IV, Drury Survey District, viz., a portion of
the Auckland-Hamilton Motorway, shall be that defined and
set forth in the Schedule hereto and I also declare that this
Proclamation shall affect only the land situated within the
limits shown coloured red on the plan marked M.O.W. 7029
referred to in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
COMMENCING at a point situated on the north-western bound-
ary of Lot 18, D.P. 4963, which point is distant 4 chains from
the north-eastern corner of the said Lot 18, proceeding thence
in a south-easterly direction generally for a distance of approxi-
mately 71 chains, passing in, into, through, or over the
following roads, streets, avenues, ways, lands, etc., viz; Lot 18,
D.P. 4963 (C.T. 203/110); Lot 19, D.P. 4963 (C.T. 281/93);
Park Estate Road; Part Lot 8, D.P. 4963 (C.T. 1609/39); Lot
7, D.P. 4963 (C.T. 210/131); part section 5, Village of Drury
(C.T. 768/135); part Section 5, Village of Drury (C.T.
926/106); part sections 1, 4, and 5, Village of Drury (C.T.
1091/267); and terminating at a point on the eastern limit of
the Auckland-Hamilton Motorway Middle Line Proclamation
No. 14260, which point bears 240° 53' for a distance of 725
links from the south-western corner of Lot 9, D.P. 39496,
including all adjoining and intervening places, land, reserves,
roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses; as the
same is delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 7029 deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and
thereon coloured red.
