-
These tariff items relate to the following goods, viz.—
Tableware and other articles of a kind commonly used for domestic or toilet purposes (other than sanitary fittings of ceramics covered by tariff item 812.200.0):

Of pottery other than porcelain or china.
Bedside and table lamps of porcelain, china, or other ceramic materials.

(b) The degree of protection, if any, necessary for the industry by way of tariff or other means, and whether such protection should apply to all types of pottery or to particular types only; and
(c) The potential ability of the industry to develop or extend its overseas trade. -
For the purpose of taking evidence on this subject the Board will hold a public inquiry commencing on Monday, 25 March 1963, at 10.30 a.m., in the Board Room, Fifth Floor, Bowen State Building, Bowen Street, Wellington.
-
Any person interested or who intends to tender evidence may obtain from the undernamed a copy of the provisions of the tariff items in question including a description of the types of goods included therein.
-
Any person who intends to tender evidence should comply with the “Notes for the Guidance of Witnesses” which have been prepared by the Board. A copy of these notes may be obtained from the undernamed.
