A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State Forest Land.

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT—ROTORUA CONSERVANCY
Lots 1, 2, and 3, D.P. 4915, being parts of Mangatu No. 1 Block, and parts of Subdivisions 3, 6, 13, 17, and 18 of Mangatu No. 1 Block, situated in Blocks XI, XII, XV, and XVI, Arowhana Survey District: Area, 4,249 acres 1 rood 30 perches, more or less. Part certificate of title, Volume 127, folio 22, Gisborne Registry.

Also Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 4916, being parts of Mangatu No. 1 Block, and parts of Subdivisions 3, 6, and 7 of Mangatu No. 1 Block, situated in Blocks XV and XVI, Arowhana Survey District, and Blocks III and IV, Mangatu Survey District: Area, 4,272 acres 1 rood 30 perches, more or less. PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a church site, meeting place, and burial ground for the common use and benefit and enjoyment of the members and adherents of “The Absolute Established Maori Church of Aotearoa, Te Waipounamu, Wharekauri (Incorporated)”.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, and with the consent of the licensee, hereby revokes the Order in Council dated the 22nd day of May 1957, and published in the Gazette on the 30th day of the same month at page 1084, authorising John Maxwell Dunphy, of Kopara Falls, Ahaura, farmer, to use water for the purpose of generating electricity and to erect and use certain electric lines in the County of Grey.

Time for Dissolution of Auckland Regional Authority Establishment Committee Further Extended

PURSUANT to section 12 of the Auckland Regional Authority Establishment Act 1960, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the Order in Council made on the 13th day of December 1961 extending the time for the dissolution of the Auckland Regional Authority Establishment Committee until the 1st day of January 1963, and hereby extends the time for the dissolution of the Auckland Regional Authority Establishment Committee until the 1st day of January 1964, or until the date on which the local Bill prepared by the Committee and submitted to Parliament pursuant to that Act comes into force if that date is earlier than the 1st day of January 1964.
