PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir
Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described
in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and
that the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is
hereby taken for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a
road and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and In-
habitants of the County of Springs from the date hereinafter
mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take
effect on and after the 21st day of December 1962.
