CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Change of City of Christchurch District Scheme, Section One
(Zoning)

PURSUANT to sections 29 and 30A of the Town and Country
Planning Act 1953, public notice is hereby given that the
Christchurch City Council, on 26 November 1962, resolved
that the operative district scheme be altered in respect of the
matters listed in the Schedule hereunder.

The changes of the district scheme as now resolved by the
Council are deposited in the Council Offices, 194 Manchester
Street, the Public Library, and each branch library in the
districts affected.

Objections to the proposed changes of the district scheme
may be made in written notice on Form E prescribed in the
Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations
1960 or to the like effect marked “Objection to Scheme
Change”, and lodged at the offices of the Council at any
time not later than noon on Friday, 18 January 1963. An
appropriate form for use by objectors is available at the
Council offices and libraries.

At a later date every objection will be open for public
inspection. Any person who wishes to support or oppose any
objection will then be entitled to be heard at the hearing of
objections if he notifies the Council in writing within a period
of which public notice will be given.

  3. Elgin Street through to Stanley Street, being C.T. 10/191,
    404/163, 191/26, 191/27, 15/33, 449/226, 449/27: From
    Residential “B” to Commercial “B”.

CITY OF AUCKLAND

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Changes to the City of Auckland District Scheme Approved

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations
1960, public notice is hereby given that the under-mentioned
changes to the district scheme under the Town and Country
Planning Act 1953 for the City of Auckland were approved
by the Council by resolution passed at its meeting held on the
10th day of December 1962.

The Council has also resolved that the under-mentioned
changes to the district scheme shall come into operation on
the 18th day of December 1962.

Copies of the scheme changes as approved have been
deposited in the Council’s office and in every public library in
the district and may be inspected, without fee, by any person
who so requires at any time when these places are open to
the public.

ADVERTISEMENT OF CANCELLING

NOTICE is hereby given that the Registrar of Friendly Societies
has, pursuant to section 70 of the Friendly Societies Act 1909,
by writing under his hand dated this 6th day of December
1962, cancelled the registry of The Grand United Order of
Oddfellows Friendly Society of New Zealand, a branch of
The Manchester Unity Independent Order of Oddfellows
(New Zealand) Friendly Society (Register No. 312/16), held
at Wellington, on the ground that the said branch has ceased
to exist.
