Land Taken for River Diversion Purposes and for Road in
Block V, Kaniere Survey District, Westland County

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir
Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described
in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for river diversion
purposes and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and
Inhabitants of the County of Westland as from the date here-
inafter mentioned; and that the land described in the Second
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I also declare
that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 17th
day of December 1962.
FIRST SCHEDULE
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL those pieces of land situated in Block V, Kaniere Survey
District, Westland R.D., described as follows:

SECOND SCHEDULE
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT

being part Rural Section 1991; coloured blue on plan.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked M.O.W. 6724 (S.O. 5100) deposited in the office of
the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as
above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this
4th day of December 1962.

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir
Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land
described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a
recreation ground and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors,
and Citizens of the City of Lower Hutt as from the date
hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the 17th day of December 1962.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood 9·4 perches situated
in the City of Lower Hutt, Wellington R.D., being Lot 3,
D.P. 1316, being part Section 21, Hutt District. All certificate
of title, Volume 556, folio 180, Wellington Land Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 12th day of December 1962.

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir
Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land first
described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a police
station and that the land secondly described in the Schedule
hereto is hereby taken for a courthouse; and I also declare
that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the
17th day of December 1962.

(6) of the said section 29.
