dated the 6th day of November 1962 confirming the reduction
of capital of the above-named company from £51,000 to
£48,000 and the minute approved by the Court showing, with
respect to the capital of the company as altered, the several
particulars required by the above statute, was registered by
the Registrar of Companies on the 21st day of November 1962.

NELSON HARBOUR BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Nelson Harbour Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges
on a loan of £68,000 authorised to be raised by the Nelson
Harbour Board for the purpose of carrying out certain
harbour works in the Nelson Harbour as authorised by the
Nelson Harbour Board and Nelson City Empowering Act
1961, the said Nelson Harbour Board hereby makes a special
rate of one twenty-fifth of a penny upon the rateable value
(on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property
in the Nelson Harbour Board District; and that the special
rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency
of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of October
in each and every year during the currency of such loan,
being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a
resolution passed by the Nelson Harbour Board on the 19th
day of November 1962.

TAURANGA BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Property Loan No. 2, 1962, £25,000
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the Tau-
ranga Borough Council, held on 24 September 1962, the
following resolution was passed:
That, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956,
the Tauranga Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
the Properties Loan No. 2, 1962, £25,000, authorised to be
raised by the Tauranga Borough Council under the above-
mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing or acquiring
properties for future public works in the nature of civic and
cultural amenities and streets and service lanes, the said
Tauranga Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of
decimal nought eight eight pence (0·088d.) in the pound
upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved
value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Tauranga;
and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the
1st day of August in each and every year during the currency
of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is
fully paid off."

WAIPA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waipa County Council proposes to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a public
road, for which purpose the land described in the Schedule hereto requires to be taken by the Waipa County Council under the provisions
of the Public Works Act 1928. A plan of the land required to be taken as aforesaid lies open to public inspection at the office of the Council
in Bank Street, Te Awamutu. All persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-founded objections to the execution
of such works or to the taking of such land and to send such writing to the Waipa County Council within 40 days from the first publication
of this notice.
