Declaration of a Disaster Affecting Farming Businesses for Income Tax Purposes

Pursuant to section 103A of the Land and Income Tax Act 1954, the Minister of Finance hereby declares the flood in the following areas to be a disaster for the purposes of that section:

Whakatane Survey District, Blocks 1 and 4; Rangitaiki Upper Survey District, Blocks 2, 3, 4, and 5; Awa-O-Te-Atua Survey District, Blocks 3, 4, and 5, in the period commencing on the 21st day of May 1962 and ending with the 21st day of December 1962.
