His Excellency the Administrator of the Government has, pursuant to the Navy Act 1954, approved the following appointments, promotions, and terminations of appointment in the Royal New Zealand Navy:
Commander O. R. J. Skyrme to be released (age), to date 5 December 1962, and to be placed on the Retired List, to date 6 December 1962.
Commander (Sp) P. J. Stoner, D.S.C., engagement of service extended to 31 December 1965.
Lieutenant-Commander F. W. P. Townend released (at own request), to date 24 August 1962, and placed on Emergency List, to date 25 August 1962.
Lieutenant-Commander T. F. S. Vane to be released (age), to date 15 November 1962, and to be placed on the Retired List, to date 16 November 1962.
Supply Lieutenant-Commander J. H. Craig, M.B.E., granted acting rank of Supply Commander whilst holding present appointment, to date 23 September 1962.
