Declaring Road in Block X, Mangakahia Survey District, to be Government Road

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 7th day of November 1962

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government Road.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of road containing 6·8 perches situated in Block X, Mangakahia Survey District, Auckland R.D., adjoining Section 45; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 6540 (S.O. 42723) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Altering the Boundaries of the Hauraki Catchment District

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby alters the boundaries of the Hauraki Catchment District* by extending them so as to include therein all those areas of Ohinemuri and Thames Counties not at present included.

Cancelling the Appointments of Five Non-elective Members of the Poverty Bay Catchment Board and Appointing Four Non-elective Members of the Board

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated 3 August 1949, published in Gazette, 4 August 1949, Volume II, page 1624, as amended by Order in Council dated 2 July 1952, published in Gazette, 3 July 1952, Volume II, page 1143, and 7 October 1953, published in Gazette, 8 October 1953, Volume III, page 1619, five persons were appointed to be non-elective members of the Poverty Bay Catchment Board:

And whereas by Order in Council dated 17 October 1962, published in Gazette, 18 October 1962, Volume III, page 1720, the number of non-elective members of the said Board was reduced from five to four:

Now, therefore, pursuant to the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby—

(i) Revokes the said Orders in Council dated 3 August 1949, 2 July 1952, and 7 October 1953; and

(ii) Appoints the persons holding for the time being the offices of

Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works, Gisborne,

Farm Advisory Officer, Department of Agriculture, Gisborne,

Commissioner of Crown Lands, Department of Lands and Survey, Gisborne, and

Forest Ranger, New Zealand Forest Service, Gisborne,

to be non-elective members of the Poverty Bay Catchment Board.

Appointing a Principal Local Council of a Combined District for the Purposes of Election of a Member of the Waikato Valley Authority

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Waikato Valley Authority Act 1956, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby selects and appoints the Rotorua County Council to be the principal local Council of the combined district comprising so much of the Counties of Rotorua and Taupo as lies within the Waikato Valley.
