PUBLIC NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR A SITE FOR A FIRE STATION
———

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and amendments and the Counties Act 1956 and amendments.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Waitemata County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction and formation of a site for a fire station passing through or adjoining the parcels of land referred to in the Schedule hereunder and situated in the Titirangi County Town portion of Titirangi Riding of the County of Waitemata; and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk of the said Council situated in the Council Chambers, 199 Karangahape Road, Auckland, and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons having any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing and send the same, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers.

SCHEDULE

Lot 1, D.P. 41033, being part Allotment 46, Waikomiti Parish, and being the whole of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 1109, folio 5.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR HOUSING PURPOSES (PENSIONER FLATS)
———

In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and the Public Works Act 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Mount Albert Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the provision of housing (pensioner flats) in the Borough of Mount Albert, and for the purposes of such work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council situated at 615 New North Road, Mount Albert, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land who have any well-grounded objections to the said public work or to the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing and send the same, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk, Mount Albert Borough Council, 615 New North Road, Mount Albert, Auckland.

Specific Departure from Operative District Scheme

NOTICE is hereby given, in accordance with regulation 32 (8) of the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, that the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, pursuant to section 35 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, on the 19th day of September 1962 and on the 5th day of October 1962, consented to the following specific departures from the Hastings City Council’s Operative District Scheme (Frimley area).

(1) That the land, the subject of the application of the honourable the Minister of Works, zoned as rural in the city operative district scheme and shown on Plan T.P. 7069, be zoned as Residential B and Commercial and that the zoning of the said land and the designation thereof for schools, reserves, proposed streets, and access ways in the Frimley area of the Hastings City be as illustrated on the said plan T.P. 7069.

(2) That all that land containing approximately 5 acres, being part Lot 11, D.P. 2379, being part of the land comprised in C.T. Volume 15, folio 62, H.B. Registry, and shown in the plan submitted and outlined in blue and green at present zoned as rural be zoned as residential. (I.D. and M.S. Ward application.)

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 12 o’clock of the day preceding publication.

Advertisements are charged at the rate of 9d. per line for the first insertion and 6d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertions.

The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand.

STATUTORY REGULATIONS

Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:

(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing) subscription £2 per calendar year in advance.

(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, 35s. per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and 1939–42 are out of print.)

(3) Separate regulations as issued.
