Certificate No. 1830 for 100 stock units, and Certificate No. 2091 for 50 stock units in McKenzies (N.Z.) Ltd., registered in the names of Robert Douglas Cameron and Edna Inez Cameron.
Unless there is received some claim or representation in respect of the said original certificates within 21 days from the date of this notice, the directors will proceed to deal with the applications for the new certificates.

OHINEMURI COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Waihi Beach Water Supply Additional Loan 1962, £16,500
NOTICE is hereby given that, at a meeting of the Ohinemuri County Council held on the 10th day of October 1962, the following resolution was passed.
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Ohinemuri County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £16,500 authorised to be raised by the Ohinemuri County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting additional costs in connection with the provision of a water supply for and reticulating the Waihi Beach County Town, the said Ohinemuri County Council hereby makes a special rate of 1·012d. in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Waihi Beach County Town, comprising the whole of the Waihi Beach County Town in the County of Ohinemuri; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 21st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

BANKS PENINSULA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
SPECIAL RATE
NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Banks Peninsula Electric Power Board resolved as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on Development Loan 1962, £30,000, authorised to be raised by the Banks Peninsula Electric Power Board under the above Act for the purpose of developing the Board’s system and installing remote load control equipment, the said Banks Peninsula Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate of one-ninth of a penny in the pound (£1) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Banks Peninsula Electric Power District; and such rate shall be an annually recurring special rate payable yearly on 28 February in each and every year during the currency of the said loan or until the loan is fully paid off.”

AKAROA COUNTY COUNCIL
AKAROA DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT LOAN 1962, £45,000
THAT, in pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Counties Act 1956, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and all amendments thereto, the Akaroa County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £45,000 authorised to be raised by the Akaroa County Council under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of renewing existing sewerage pipes, installing a pumping plant, and installing a treatment plant for the full treatment of sewage disposal for the Akaroa County Town, the said council hereby makes and levies a special rate of twopence and decimal two-one pence in the pound on the rateable value of all the rateable property (on the basis of the unimproved value) comprising the whole of the Akaroa Riding (Akaroa County Town).
“That such rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and shall be payable on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being for a period of 30 years, or until the loan is wholly repaid.”

NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL ON LOAN PROPOSAL
PURSUANT to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Henderson, taken on the 13th day of October 1962 on the proposal of the above-named local authority to raise a loan of £50,000 to be known as the Henderson Borough Council Commercial and Civic Centre Loan 1962 of £50,000 for the purpose of the purchasing of land and buildings in the borough’s proposed commercial and civic centre zone, resulted as follows:
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was ...... 302
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 385
The number of informal votes was ...... ...... ...... 6
I therefore declare that the proposal was rejected.
