Appointment of Honorary Child Welfare Officers Under the Child Welfare Act 1925

Pursuant to section 2 of the Child Welfare Act 1925, the Minister of Education hereby appoints

Mr Clarence Thomas Ford, Christchurch,
Mrs Turu Hira Teresa Winiata, Te Puke, and
Mr Te Rangi Katuakua Winiata, Te Puke,

to be honorary child welfare officers for the purposes of the said Act for the period ending 31 March 1963.

Commissioner of the Supreme Court Appointed

Pursuant to section 47 of the Judicature Act 1908, the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, K.C.M.G., Chief Justice of New Zealand, has this day appointed

Daryle Telford Simpson, Esquire, the World Building, 29 Reiby Place, Sydney, New South Wales, a solicitor of the Court of Session of New South Wales, to be a Commissioner of the Supreme Court of New Zealand in New South Wales, for the purpose of administering and taking of oaths, affidavits, and affirmations as in the said section mentioned.

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950 and the Motor Launch Regulations 1962, with the authority of the Minister of Marine, the deputy of the Secretary for Marine hereby makes the honorary appointments as set forth in the Schedule hereto from the date hereof.
