TIMARU CITY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Review of the Timaru Borough Town Planning Scheme No. 1
and its Amendments
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution
of the Council made on the 1st day of October 1962, the
Timaru Borough Town Planning Scheme No. 1 and its
amendments as already operative, having been reviewed, the
Council has recommended that the reviewed district scheme
with the changes now incorporated therein be approved.
The scheme as now recommended by the Council has been
deposited in the Timaru Public Library and the offices of the
Timaru City Council, King George's Place, Timaru, and
is there open for inspection by all persons interested therein,
without fee, at any time when the above places are open to
the public.
Objections to the reviewed district scheme may be made by
way of written notice in form E prescribed in the First
Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations
1960 or to the like effect, marked “Objection to District
Scheme”, and lodged at the office of the Council at any time
not later than the 31st day of December 1962.

MATAMATA COUNTY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Matamata County District Scheme (Except Tokoroa Section)
Approved
PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations
1960, public notice is hereby given that the district scheme
under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 for the Mata-
mata County (except Tokoroa Section) was approved by the
Council by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 13th
day of September 1962 after all objections, appeals, and
arbitrations relating to the scheme had been disposed of and
the scheme had been amended to give effect to all objections
and appeals allowed and all amendments of the district scheme
required by the Board had been incorporated.
The Council has also resolved that the scheme shall come
into operation on the 1st day of November 1962.
Copies of the scheme as approved have been deposited in
the Council's office and in every public library in the district
and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so
requires at any time when these places are open to the public.

Rural Section-Southland County District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Southland County
Council, at its meeting held on the 5th day of June 1959,
resolved to prepare for the rural section of the county as
described in the Schedule to this notice a district scheme as
required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning
Act 1953.
Every person and every local authority in the district is
hereby invited to submit any proposals which, in his or its
opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the pro-
posed scheme.

Proposals marked “Southland County District Scheme-
Rural Section” should be submitted in writing and addressed
to the County Clerk, P.O. Box 33, Invercargill, or delivered
at the County Clerk's Office, Southland County Council Cham-
bers, Clyde Street, Invercargill, on or before the 7th day of
September 1959.

DESCRIPTION OF AREA
ALL those areas in the Southland and Otago Land Districts,
which are within the boundaries of the County of Southland,
but excluding therefrom the City of Invercargill, the Boroughs
of Bluff, Winton, Gore, and Mataura, the Town Districts of
Lumsden and Wyndham, and the Invercargill City environs
section of the Southland County District Scheme.
The above-mentioned area is more particularly described
in the Gazette, 4 April 1957, No. 27, page 591, Second
Schedule.

of the Southland County, a district scheme as required under
the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.
Every person and every local authority in the district is hereby
invited to submit any proposals which, in his or its opinion,
should be considered in the preparation of the proposed
scheme. Proposals marked “Southland County City Environ8
District Scheme” should be submitted in writing and addressed
to the County Clerk, Box 33, Invercargill, or delivered at
the County Clerk's Office, Southland County Council Cham-
bers, Clyde Street, Invercargill, on or before the 30th day of

DESCRIPTION OF AREA
Southland County-Invercargill City Environs Section
ALL that area in the Southland Land District, Southland
County, and bounded as follows: Commencing at the junction
of the Queenstown-Invercargill State Highway and the Lorne-
Hedgehope Main Highway; thence south-easterly along the
centre line of the said Lorne-Hedgehope Main Highway to
a point in line with the western side of Aerodrome Road;
thence southerly to and along the western side of the said
Aerodrome Road and the western boundary of Section 34,
Block IV, Invercargill Hundred, and that boundary produced
to the centre line of Myross Bush Road; thence westerly and
southerly along the centre lines of the said Myross Bush
Road and Neas Road to the centre line of Bainfield Road;
thence south-easterly generally along the centre lines of the
said Bainfield Road and Fairweather Road to the centre line
of Browns Road; thence southerly generally along the centre
line of the said Browns Road to the centre line of the Gore-
Invercargill State Highway; thence south-westerly and south-
easterly along the centre lines of the said Gore-Invercargill
State Highway and Mill Road South to the centre line of
Mason Road; thence westerly along the centre line of the said
Mason Road to a point in line with the eastern boundary of
Lot 1 on the plan numbered 2991 and deposited in the office
of the District Land Registrar at Invercargill; thence southerly
to and along the eastern boundary of the said Lot 1 and that
boundary produced to the centre line of Lardner Road; thence
easterly and southerly along the centre lines of the said
Lardner Road and Murphy Road to the centre line of Lee
Road; thence westerly along the centre line of the said Lee
Road to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section
27, Block VI, Campbelltown Hundred; thence south-westerly
along the northern boundary of the said Section 27, across
the Invercargill-Bluff State Highway, the Main South Railway
Line, and the northern boundary of Section 8, Block VI,
aforesaid, and the last-mentioned boundary produced to the
right bank of the Waimatua Creek; thence southerly and
north-westerly generally along the right bank of the said
Waimatua Creek and the mean high water mark of the New
River Harbour to the southern boundary of the Invercargill
Hundred; thence westerly and north-westerly generally along
the southern and south-western boundaries of the said Inver-
cargill Hundred to a point in line with the centre line of a
public road forming the southern boundary of Section 5,
Block XVII, Invercargill Hundred; thence easterly to and
along the centre line of the said public road to the centre
line of Otatara Road; thence north-easterly generally along
the centre lines of the said Otatara Road, Bay Main High-
way, and Thompson Road, to the centre line of Short Road;
thence easterly and northerly along the centre line of the
said Short Road and the centre line of a public road forming
the eastern boundaries of Sections 118, 116, and 109, Block
XV, Invercargill Hundred, to the centre line of the West
Plains Main Highway; thence easterly and northerly along the
centre lines of the said West Plains Main Highway and Steele
