Fixing Amounts to be Paid by Uniting Local Authorities to the Fire Board of Palmerston North United Urban Fire District

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Fire Services Act 1949, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. The amounts to be paid by the uniting local authorities to the Fire Board of the Palmerston North United Urban Fire District, pursuant to section 53 of the Fire Services Act 1949, shall be in the following proportions:
    Palmerston North City Council ..... 92 per cent
    Kairanga County Council ..... 5 per cent
    Oroua County Council ..... 3 per cent

Provided that the amounts to be paid by the Kairanga and Oroua County Councils respectively in any year, excepting any sum required to meet salary and wage increases which shall be paid by the uniting local authorities in the proportions fixed by this clause, shall be limited to sums which do not exceed more than 10 per cent of the sums of £800 and £480.

  1. This order shall continue in force until the 31st day of March 1969.

ORDER

  1. This order may be cited as the Returned Services Associations Badge Order 1950, Amendment No. 6, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Returned Services Associations Badge Order 1950* (hereinafter referred to as the principal order).

  2. The principal order is hereby amended by inserting in the Second Schedule, after the words "Greymouth Returned Services Association (Incorporated)", the words “Halcombe Returned Services Association (Incorporated)”.

Pursuant to section 10 of the National Parks Act 1952, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall, as from the date hereof, be added to and form part of the Urewera National Park, and shall hereafter be managed, administered, and dealt with by the Urewera National Park Board in accordance with the provisions of the said Act.

PAHARAKEKE Block, situated in Block XIV, Waioeka South Survey District, Blocks I, II, V, VI, IX, and X, Koranga West Survey District, and Block XII, Ruatahuna Survey District: Area, 18,253 acres, more or less. (M.L. Plans 3306 and 3307.)
Also part Manuoha Block, situated in Blocks IX, X, XIII, and XIV, Koranga West Survey District, Blocks XII and XVI, Ruatahuna Survey District, and Block IV, Waikaremoana West Survey District: Area, 19,667 acres, more or less. (M.L. Plan 3307 and S.O. Plan 1770.)
Together with the beds and waters of all internal streams, rivers, lakes, lagoons, and pools.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 7/957A deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
