Pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1947, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the middle line of a motorway desired to be constructed in Block III, Christchurch Survey District, Blocks XV and XI, Rangiora Survey District, and the Borough of Kaiapoi, viz, a portion of the Christchurch Northern Motorway (Belfast-Pinehaven section) shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall affect only the land situated within the limits shown coloured red on the plan marked M.O.W. 5216 (Sheets 1, 2, 3, and 4) referred to in the Schedule hereto.
