Declaring Land to be Crown Land

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 265 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land and to be subject to the Land Act 1948.


SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 1 acre 3 roods, more or less, being the undefined portion of Motungarara Block (Fishermans Island), known as Motungarara B, situated in Block II, Kapiti Survey District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 7th day of September 1962.

Varying a Proclamation Declaring Land to be Crown Land

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 265 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, do hereby vary the Proclamation dated the 12th day of June 1962, published in Gazette, 21 June 1962, No. 40, page 969, and affecting the land described as Taheke Papakainga No. 5B Block, situated in Block X, Rotoiti Survey District, South Auckland Land District, by deleting from the said Proclamation the words “and to be subject to the Land Act 1948”.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 7th day of September 1962.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the Wanganui Metropolitan motorway.


SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL those pieces of land situated in the City of Wanganui, Wellington R.D., described as follows:

0 3 1·9 Part Lot 7, D.P. 16786; coloured yellow on plan.

0 1 8·91 Lot 21, D.P. 16786; coloured sepia on plan.

0 1 13·3 Part Lot 6, D.P. 16786; coloured blue on plan.

0 0 10·5 Part Lot 40, Deeds Plan 249; coloured sepia edged sepia, on plan.

0 0 6·16 Part Lot 37, Deeds Plan 249; coloured yellow, edged yellow, on plan.

All being parts Reserve “L”, Town of Wanganui.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 4208 (S.O. 25171) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 31st day of August 1962.

Land and Easements Over Land Taken for Post Office Purposes (V.H.F. Repeater Station) in Block V, Waitoa Survey District

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for post office purposes (V.H.F. repeater station), and that easements are hereby taken for post office purposes (V.H.F. repeater station) over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto vesting in Her Majesty the Queen the full and free right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity, first, to construct and use a right of way with the right for Her Majesty’s servants, agents, workmen, licensees, and invitees from time to time and at all times hereafter to go, pass, and repass with or without horses or other animals or vehicles over the land first described in the said Second Schedule and to maintain, repair, and keep open the said right of way, secondly, to lay, place, install, maintain, repair, and replace underground electric power cables under the land secondly described in the said Second Schedule and, thirdly, to lay, place, install, maintain, repair, and replace underground telephone cables under the land thirdly described in the said Second Schedule, all such easements to be held appurtenant to the land described in the said First Schedule; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 24th day of September 1962.


FIRST SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 1 acre 1 rood 27·5 perches, being part Section 7, Block V, Waitoa Survey District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 6088 (S.O. 41640) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
