A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the stopped Government road described in the First Schedule hereto, and the land, now held for better utilisation, described in the Second Schedule hereto, are hereby set apart for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of the Auckland-Kumeu Motorway; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 17th day of September 1962.
FIRST SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of stopped Government road containing 36·5 perches situated in Blocks X and XIV, Waitemata Survey District, Auckland R.D., and adjoining or passing through Lot 9 and part Lot 2, D.P. 24303, being part Allotment 156, Parish of Waipareira; coloured green on plan.
SECOND SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 2 roods 5·1 perches situated in Block XIV, Waitemata Survey District, Auckland R.D., and being part Lot 9, D.P. 24303, being part Allotment 156, Parish of Waipareira; coloured blue on plan.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 5894 (S.O. 43095) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 421 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, and comprised in a roadway laid out by the Maori Land Court by an order dated the 6th day of June 1956, to be road.

Allocating Railway Land to the Purposes of a Road in Block IX, Ongo Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto (which was taken for railway purposes and is not now required for that purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become road, and that such road shall be maintained by the National Roads Board in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Board.

Altering the Boundaries of the Hawke’s Bay Catchment District

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby alters the boundaries of the Hawke’s Bay Catchment District by including therein the area described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Gisborne, South Auckland, and Hawke’s Bay Land Districts comprising the Borough of Wairoa and portions of the Counties of Cook, Waikohu, Opotiki, Whakatane, Taupo, and Hawke’s Bay, bounded by a line within the Hawke’s Bay Land District commencing at the sea coast, in Block XI, Moeangi Survey District, in line with the southern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 4273, and proceeding westerly to and along that boundary and the southern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 9316, to the eastern side of Mohaka Coast Road; thence south-westerly generally along that roadside to a point in line with the southern side of a public road abutting Lot 2, D.P. 4730; thence to and generally westerly along that roadside to the western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 6620, and north-westerly along a right line to intersect another right line between Trig. Station XXIX in Block VI, Moeangi Survey District, and Trig. Station V in Block X, aforesaid, at a point approximately 30 chains from the said Trig. Station XXIX; thence south-westerly along the right line between those trig. stations to the western boundary of Section 3, Block X, Moeangi Survey District, as shown on S.O. 1999; thence northerly generally along that western boundary to the southern side of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway and along the right line to Trig. Station Y in Block VIII, Maungaharuru Survey District, and along another right line to a point on the western boundary of Section 3, Block VIII, aforesaid, due east of Trig. Station Y 1, and north-westerly along that boundary to its westernmost point; thence north-westerly generally along the watershed between Waiongawahine Stream and Pupakiri Stream to the eastern-most corner of Maungaharuru Block; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of the Maungaharuru Block to the western side of Pohokura Tutira Road; thence north-westerly along that roadside to its intersection with the northern boundary of Section 6, Block XI, Waitara Survey District; thence north-westerly along a right line to Trig.
