A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Edward James Whyte, of Waipara, farmer, under and by virtue of Crown lease, Volume 541, folio 190, Canterbury Land Registry, is hereby taken for the development of water power (Waipara Substation).
