Revoking a Licence Authorising Dorothy May Aubrey, of Omarama, Farmer, to Use Water for the Purpose of Generating Electricity

COBHAM, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Government House at Wellington this 29th day of August 1962 Present: HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, and with the consent of the licensee, hereby revokes the Order in Council dated the 7th day of February 1956 and published in the Gazette on the 16th day of the same month at page 186, authorising Dorothy May Aubrey, of Omarama, farmer, to use water for the purpose of generating electricity.

The Hawke's Bay Aerodrome Establishment Order 1962 COBHAM, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Government House at Wellington this 29th day of August 1962 Present: HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Empowering (Aviation Encouragement) Act 1929, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. This order may be cited as the Hawke's Bay Aerodrome Establishment Order 1962. 2. Consent is hereby given to the establishment and maintenance of an aerodrome by the Napier City Council, the Hastings City Council, the Havelock North Borough Council, the Hawke's Bay County Council, and the Taradale Borough Council on the land described in the Schedule hereto. 3. (1) The notice, published in the Gazette of 14 February 1935 at page 320, constituting the Napier Aero Club a recognised Aviation Authority is hereby revoked. (2) The notice, published in the Gazette of 18 October 1945 at page 1300, constituting the Napier Borough Council a recognised Aviation Authority is hereby revoked. (3) The notice, published in the Gazette of 13 June 1946 at page 812, consenting to the establishment and maintenance of an aerodrome by the Napier Borough Council is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

ALL that land in the Hawke's Bay Land District comprising 499 acres 2 roods 6 perches, more or less, being part Island of Tuteranuku, Block XVI, Puketapu Survey District, part Island of Tirowhangahe, Block XVI, Puketapu Survey District, Island of Awa-A-Waka, part Block XVI, Puketapu Survey District, part Block IV, Heretaunga Survey District, Island of Matawhero, Block IV, Heretaunga Survey District, and part Lot 1, D.P. 6211, part Ahuriri Lagoon Reserve, part Block XVI, Puketapu Survey District, part Block IV, Heretaunga Survey District.

Amending Constitution of Board of Managers of Otahuhu College

COBHAM, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Government House at Wellington this 29th day of August 1962 Present: HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL PURSUANT to the Education Act 1914, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

THE Order in Council constituting the Board of Managers of Otahuhu College made on the 27th day of August 1958 and published in the Gazette of 4 September 1958, Vol. III, page 1166, is hereby amended by omitting from paragraph (h) of clause 1 the words “who shall be a parent of a pupil attending the school”.

COBHAM, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Government House at Wellington this 29th day of August 1962 Present: HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto by way of loan of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.
