PURSUANT to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, I,
Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of
New Zealand, hereby proclaim as stopped the Government
road described in the Schedule hereto, that road being no
longer required.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL those pieces of Government road situated in Block XV,
Mahurangi Survey District, Auckland R.D., described as
follows:

The Old Mount Somers Cemetery Closing Order 1962

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 13th day
of August 1962
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Cemeteries Act 1908, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Old Mount Somers
    Cemetery Closing Order 1962.
    (2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of
    September 1962.
  2. It is hereby directed that the Old Mount Somers Cemetery,
    being the area described in the Schedule hereto, shall be
    closed and burials therein discontinued after the 31st day of
    March 1963.
  3. It is hereby declared that the Old Mount Somers Cemetery
    shall vest, on the 1st day of April 1963, in the Mount Somers
    Domain Board as a closed cemetery for maintenance in good
    order as a public reserve.
    SCHEDULE
    ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District containing 5
    acres, more or less, being Reserve 1632, situated in Block XV,
    Alford Survey District, as shown on plan marked 191/2/405,
    held in the office of the Department of Health at Wellington,
    and thereon edged red, which plan is a copy of Survey Office
    Plan 557.

    The Whitianga Cemetery Order 1962

    ORDER IN COUNCIL
    At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 13th day
    of August 1962
    Present:
    THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
    PURSUANT to the Cemeteries Act 1908, His Excellency the
    Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
    of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
    ORDER
  4. (1) This order may be cited as the Whitianga Cemetery
    Order 1962.
    (2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of
    September 1962.
  5. The Coromandel County Council is hereby appointed
    to be the trustee of the Whitianga Cemetery, being the area
    described in the Schedule hereto, and shall have the control
    and management of that cemetery under and for the purposes
    of the Cemeteries Act 1908.
  6. (1) The delegation to the Coromandel County Council
    of the powers of appointing and removing trustees of the
    said cemetery made by Order in Council dated the 18th day
    of September 1933 is hereby revoked.
    (2) The said Order in Council is hereby accordingly amend-
    ed by omitting from the second column of the Schedule the
    word "Whitianga", where it appears opposite the reference
    to the Coromandel County Council in the first column of
    that Schedule.
    SCHEDULE
    ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District containing
    7 acres 10 perches, more or less, being Section 5, Block X,
    Otama Survey District; as shown on plan marked 191/2/103
    held in the office of the Department of Health, Wellington,
    and thereon edged red, which plan is a copy of Survey Office
    Plan 41526.

    The Blueskin Cemetery Order 1962

    ORDER IN COUNCIL
    At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 13th day
    of August 1962
    Present:
    THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
    PURSUANT to the Cemeteries Act 1908, His Excellency the
    Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
    of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
    ORDER
  7. (1) This order may be cited as the Blueskin Cemetery
    Order 1962.
    (2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of
    September 1962.
  8. The Waikouaiti County Council is hereby appointed to
    be the trustee of the Blueskin Cemetery, being the area de-
    scribed in the Schedule hereto, and shall have the control and
    management of that cemetery under and for the purposes of
    the Cemeteries Act 1908.
  9. The Order in Council dated the 17th day of November
    1886,* delegating to the Waikouaiti County Council the powers
    of appointing and removing trustees of the said cemetery, is
    hereby revoked.
