Additional Land at Whakatane West Taken for the Purposes
of East Coast Main Trunk Railway and for Road Diversion
in Connection Therewith

COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway, and that the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road diversion in connection therewith.

FIRST SCHEDULE
FOR RAILWAY
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken:
A. R. P. Being
0 0 36·6 Part Road; coloured green.
Situated in Block IV, Whakatane Survey District, Whakatane County. S.O. 41282. (L.O. 17918.)

SECOND SCHEDULE
FOR ROAD DIVERSION
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken:
A. R. P. Being
0 1 4·1 Part railway land in Proclamation 5865; coloured yellow. S.O. Plan 40406. (L.O. 17917.)
0 1 1·8 Part railway land in Proclamation 5865; coloured yellow. S.O. Plan 41282. (L.O. 17918.)
Both situated in Block IV, Whakatane Survey District, Whakatane County.
All in the Auckland Land District, as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above mentioned and deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 16th day of August 1962.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Avondale - Pollen Island Railway,

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken:
A. R. P. Being
0 3 35·5 Part Lot 5, D.P. 399, being part Allotment 5, Titirangi Parish.
Being part the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 44, folio 46, Auckland Registry.
Situated in Block III, Titirangi Survey District, City of Auckland. (S.O. 43071.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 17413 deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 17th day of August 1962.

Allocating Land Acquired for Railway Purposes Near Riversdale to the Purposes of a Road

COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become a road, and that the said road shall be under the control of the Southland County Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.
