HAWERA BOROUGH COUNCIL
DECLARATION OF RESULT OF POLL
Hawera Municipal Buildings Loan 1962, £33,500
PURSUANT to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act
1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of ratepayers of the
Borough of Hawera, taken on the 28th day of July 1962 on
the proposal of the above-named local authority, to raise a loan
of £33,500 to be known as the Hawera Municipal Buildings
Loan 1962 for the purpose of building Municipal Offices, including Council Chamber and Committee Room, and providing furnishings, equipment, and fire-alarm system for same, shifting, re-ereoting, and improving dwelling at present on proposed site, and carrying out site works, resulted as follows:
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 579
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 861
The number of informal votes was 15
I therefore declare that the proposal was rejected.

MILTON BOROUGH COUNCIL
DECLARATION OF LOAN POLL
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Authorities Loans Act
1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of the ratepayers of
the Borough of Milton, taken on 3 August 1962, on the
proposal of the above-named local authority to raise a loan
of ninety-two thousand pounds (£92,000) to be known as
the Sewerage Loan 1962 for the purpose of installing a sewage treatment plant and sewerage reticulation throughout the borough resulted as follows:
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 226
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 108
The number of informal votes was 2
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

ESTATE OF REGINALD WILLIAM JEFFERIES BRYANT
NOTICE is hereby given by the Public Trustee, as executor of
the will of Reginald William Jefferies Bryant, late of Rai
Valley, farmer, that the farming partnership known as Bryant
and Neal, Rai Valley, was, by reason of the death of
Reginald William Jefferies Bryant, terminated on 20 March
1962, and that the farm has been carried on since that date
by Peter Thomas Neal, of Rai Valley, farmer.
