Land Taken for Better Utilisation in the Borough of Mount Roskill
COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for better utilisation; and I
also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and
after the 20th day of August 1962.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
All that piece of land containing 3 roods 30·9 perches
situated in Block IV, Titirangi Survey District, Borough of
Mount Roskill, Auckland R.D., and being part Lot 6, D.P.
36413; as the same is more particularly delineated on the
plan marked M.O.W. 5900 (S.O. 43587) deposited in the
office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 9th day of August 1962.

Land and Easements Over Land Taken for Post Office Purposes
(Urban Mobile Radio Station Site) in Blocks VIII and IX,
Belmont Survey District
COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for post office purposes
(urban mobile radio station site), and that easements are
hereby taken for post office purposes (urban mobile radio
station site) over the land described in the Second Schedule
hereto, vesting in Her Majesty the Queen first, the full and
free right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity to construct and use a right of way over the land first and secondly
described in the said Second Schedule, with the right for
Her Majesty's servants, agents, and workmen from time to
time and at all times hereafter to go, pass, and repass, with
or without horses or other animals or vehicles, over the said
land, and to maintain, repair, and keep open the said right
of way for the purpose of providing access to the land described
in the First Schedule hereto; secondly the full and free right,
liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity to transmit electricity along or under the land first and secondly described in
the Second Schedule hereto, and for that purpose to lay,
construct, place, and maintain a line of electric cables along
or under the said land first and secondly described in the
said Second Schedule, and thirdly the full and free right,
liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity to transmit
electricity along and over the land secondly, thirdly, and
fourthly described in the Second Schedule hereto, and for that
purpose to erect, construct, place, maintain, and repair a line
of poles, cross-pieces, stays, wires, and cables on the said land
secondly, thirdly, and fourthly described in the said Second
Schedule, and to do all and singular upon or under the
said land such acts, deeds, matters and things as Her Majesty
the Queen, her agents, servants, workmen, employees, or
contractors may consider desirable or in anywise in connection with the erecting, constructing, placing, maintaining,
and repairing of the said line of poles, cross-pieces, stays,
wires, and cables and the transmission of electricity along and
over the land secondly, thirdly, and fourthly described in the
said Second Schedule, such easements to be appurtenant to
the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and I also
declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after
the 20th day of August 1962.
FIRST SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
All that piece of land containing 2 acres 2 roods 34·9 perches
situated in Block IX, Belmont Survey District, Wellington
R.D., being part Section 305, Hutt District; as the same is
more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W.
5591 (S.O. 25275) deposited in the office of the Minister of
Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.
SECOND SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
All those pieces of land in the Belmont Survey District,
Wellington R.D., described as follows:
Situated in Blocks VIII and IX.

orange on plan.
Situated in Block IX.

Being
0 1 10·5 Part Section 305, Hutt District; coloured orange

0 1 5·4 Part Sections 303 and 304, Hutt District; coloured
blue on plan.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked M.O.W. 5591 (S.O. 25275) deposited in the office of
the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
as above mentioned.

Allocating Railway Land to the Purposes of Road in Block III,
Ellesmere Survey District
COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I,
Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of
New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land
described in the Schedule hereto (and which was taken for
the Ellesmere Section of the Little River Branch Railway and
is not now required for that purpose) shall, upon publication
hereof in the Gazette, become road, and that such road shall
be maintained by the National Roads Board in like manner
as other State highways are controlled and maintained by the
said Board.
SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
All that piece of land containing 31·5 perches situated in
Block III, Ellesmere Survey District, Canterbury R.D., being
Railway land; as the same is more particularly delineated on
the plan marked M.O.W. 5468 (S.O. 9572) deposited in the
office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 9th day of August 1962.

land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken
for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road; and I also
declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after
the 20th day of August 1962.
