A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 25 of the Acts Interpretation Act 1924, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 23rd day of May 1961, and published in Gazette, 8 February 1962, page 249, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland as No. 18876, declaring land in a roadway laid out in Block VIII, Russell Survey District, and Blocks I and II, Whangaruru Survey District, Bay of Islands and Whangarei Counties, to be road.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 1st day of August 1962.

Amending Reclamation Areas in the City of Auckland Proclaimed Under Part II of the Housing Improvement Act 1945

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 19 of the Housing Improvement Act 1945, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Schedules to the Proclamations dated the 15th day of November 1950 and the 6th day of November 1951 and published in Gazette, 16 November 1950, Vol. III, page 1977, and Gazette, 8 November 1951, Vol. III, page 1670, respectively, proclaiming areas in the City of Auckland to be reclamation areas under Part II of the said Act, and in lieu thereof do hereby proclaim that the area to be a reclamation area under Part II of the said Act shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
All that piece of land situated in the City of Auckland bounded as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of Nelson Street and Beresford Street; thence in a north-easterly direction along the north-western side of Nelson Street to Union Street; thence in a north-westerly direction along the western side of Union Street to its intersection with Victoria Street West; thence generally in a westerly direction along the southern side of Victoria Street West and College Hill to its intersection with Ponsonby Road; thence generally in a southerly direction along the eastern side of Ponsonby Road to its intersection with Karangahape Road; thence in a north-easterly direction along the north-western side of Karangahape Road to and across Hereford Street; thence in a north-westerly direction along the north-eastern side of Hereford Street to and across Mahon Street; thence in a north-easterly direction along the north-western side of Mahon Street to Howe Street; thence in a northerly direction along the western side of Howe Street to and across Hopetoun Street; thence in a north-easterly direction by a right line across Howe Street and along the north-western side of Nelson Street to Beresford Street to the point of commencement.
As the same is delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 5788 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be Subject to the Land Act 1948

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting on the joint recommendation of the Minister of Lands and of the Minister of Forests, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto being portion of provisional State forest set apart by Proclamation dated the 5th day of March 1952, and published in Gazette, 13 March 1952, Volume I, page 363, is required for settlement purposes; and in accordance with the provisions of the said Act such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest land and shall become Crown land available for sale, lease, reservation, or other disposition under the provisions of the Land Act 1948.

Pursuant to section 11 of the Housing Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the access ways described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Hastings, and be under the control and management of the Hastings City Council.
