KAITAIA BOROUGH COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and the Public Works Act 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Kaitaia Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the provision of an off-street parking area and bus terminal including pedestrian access thereto and a service lane; and for the purposes of such public work the lands situated in the Borough of Kaitaia described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, situated in Redan Road, Kaitaia, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Redan Road, Kaitaia.

NOTICE is hereby given that as holders of water race licence No. 2015 (Queenstown) we have made application to change the purpose of the said licence from Timber Gully Creek and sundry intercepted watercourses so that it may be used for irrigation, domestic, stock, and general farming purposes.
The said application will be heard at the Warden's Court, Cromwell, at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, the 14th day of February 1962.
Objections must be filed in the Registrar's Office and notified to the applicants at least three days before the above time of hearing.

NOTICE is hereby given that as holders of water race licence No. 2014 (Queenstown) we have made application to change the purpose of the said licence from Dead Bush Creek and sundry intercepted watercourses so that it may be used for irrigation, domestic, stock, and general farm purposes.
The said application will be heard at the Warden's Court, Cromwell, at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, the 14th day of February 1962.

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL OF SCHEME UNDER THE CHARITABLE TRUSTS ACT 1957
WHEREAS one James Henry, deceased, by his will and codicil declared certain trusts for the purpose of establishing scholarships to assist boys or girls resident in Wyndham, Toetoes and Waikawa Survey Districts while preparing for and pursuing studies in the arts, science, medical, or legal classes at the Otago University; and whereas such scholarships have been established but no person resident in the said districts has ever applied for a grant thereof, now notice is hereby given that the Public Trustee and the University of Otago have applied to the Supreme Court at Wellington for approval of a scheme for disposition of the income available for such scholarships and for extending or varying the powers of the Public Trustee and the said university and prescribing or varying the mode of administering the trusts relating thereto. The scheme proposes that the scholarships shall be available for the purpose of assisting boys or girls resident anywhere in the Southland Land District while they are preparing to study for degrees in arts, science, medicine, or law at the University of Otago or while they are pursuing such studies at the said university; but so that, subject to certain reservations, preference will be given to candidates resident in the Wyndham, Toetoes, and Waikawa Survey Districts and among them to candidates bearing the surname of "Henry", "Hendry", or "Beverly". To assist administration, it is also proposed that certain funds derived from income and now held by the said university will be transferred to the Public Trustee and held by him as a reserve fund.
Copies of the application, the scheme, and the report of the Attorney-General thereon may be inspected, free of charge, at the offices of the Registrar, Supreme Court, Wellington, the District Public Trustee, Invercargill, the Registrar of the University of Otago, Dunedin, and the solicitor to the Public Trust Office, Wellington.
The date proposed for the hearing of the application is the 23rd day of March 1962. Any person desiring to oppose the scheme is hereby required to give written notice of his intention to do so to the Registrar of the Supreme Court, Wellington, and to the Public Trustee, Wellington, and to the University of Otago, Dunedin, and to the Attorney-General, Wellington, not less than seven clear days before that date.

TAUPO COUNTY COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Public notification of the Tongariro Riding section of the Taupo County District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Taupo County Council, acting through the Taupo County Commissioner pursuant to the Taupo County Act 1954, made on the 10th day of November 1959, a district scheme has been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The scheme relates to the Tongariro Riding of of the Taupo County. The scheme has been deposited in the following places:
(a) Taupo County Office, 72 Lake Terrace, Taupo,
(b) Post Office, Tokaanu,
(c) Post Office Store, Turangi,
in accordance with section 22 (1) of that Act, and is there open for inspection without fee, to all persons interested therein at any time when the above places are open to the public.
Objections to the scheme or to any part thereof shall be in writing in form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and shall be lodged at the office of the county at any time not later than 21 May 1962. At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the County Commissioner, in writing, within the period of which public notice will be given.
