STRATFORD BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Stratford Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £6,500 authorised to be raised by the Stratford Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act as the Stratford Borough Council Housing Loan 1962, £6,500, for the purpose of meeting the cost of erecting staff houses and works incidental thereto, the said Stratford Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·00065 of a pound (£) on the rateable value, on the basis of the unimproved value, of all rateable property of the Borough of Stratford comprising the whole of the Borough of Stratford; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed at a special meeting of the Stratford Borough Council held on Tuesday, the 17th day of July 1962.

BOROUGH OF MOTUEKA

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Fire Prevention Plant Loan (1962) £3,250
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Motueka Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £3,250 authorised to be raised by the Motueka Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing a new fire appliance, the said Motueka Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of one thirty-second of a penny (½d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Motueka; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

RANGITIKEI COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Bridges Replacement Loan 1960, £60,000, Third Portion, £20,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rangitikei County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of £20,000, being third portion of Bridges Replacement Loan 1960 of £60,000, authorised to be raised by the Rangitikei County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of renewing various bridges throughout the county, the said Rangitikei County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point nought seven two six four (0·07264) pence in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County of Rangitikei; and that such rate shall be annually recurring during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on 15 August in each and every year until the loan is fully repaid."
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Rangitikei County Council held on the 12th day of July 1962.

TIMARU CITY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and the Public Works Act 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Timaru City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts to execute a certain public work, namely, the formation and construction of a service lane, and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, situated in King George’s Place, Timaru, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing and send the same, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, King George’s Place, Timaru.

APPROXIMATE area of parcels of land required to be taken: 2 roods 12·5 perches, being part of Rural Section 1297 comprised in deed registered No. 10D/692, Index No. C. 1297, which land is known as Lukey’s Lane, Timaru.
Situated in the City of Timaru, and thereon coloured blue on S.O. Plan 9907.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Wellington City Empowering and Amendment Act 1924, the Public Works Act 1928, the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and their respective amendments.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-named Acts and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf, to execute a certain public work, namely, for a street at Newlands Road in the City of Wellington; and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council in the Municipal Office Building, Mercer Street, in the said City, and is there open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, set forth the same in writing and send such writing within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Wellington City Council addressed to the Town Clerk at his said office.

ALL that piece of land situate in the City of Wellington containing by admeasurement one rood and eleven perches (1r. 11pchs.), more or less, being part of Section 9, Porirua District, being part of Lot 2 on Deposited Plan No. 3010, and being the land more particularly shown on S.O.
