Notice Under the National Savings Act 1940, Section 4

Pursuant to section 4 of the National Savings Act 1940, the Minister of Finance hereby prescribes that the 23rd investment period shall run from 30 June 1962 to 30 June 1963.
The rate of interest to be paid on investments in an investment account during such investment period shall be 3½ per cent.
Moneys invested during such investment period by deposit in an investment account shall be repayable on the 30th day of June 1965.
Provided that where interest is not withdrawn in terms of section 8 (2) of the said Act and is added to the principal moneys of the investor, such amount of interest, together with interest thereon, shall be repayable on the 30th day of June 1963.
