as Chairman of the Timber Preservation Authority.

Closely Populated Locality Revoked and Limited Speed Zone Declared

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:

  1. That so much of the Warrant under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, dated the 29th day of July 1959,* as relates to that portion of the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff), formerly known as the Wellington-Paekakariki Centennial State Highway No. 34, specified in the Schedule hereto at Porirua East in Makara County is hereby revoked.
  2. The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a limited zone for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956†.
    SCHEDULE
    SITUATED within Makara County at Porirua East:
    No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) (from a point 6 chains measured northerly generally along the said State highway from Arawhata Street to a point 14 chains measured southerly generally along the said State highway from the said street).
