In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and of Wakely and Son Ltd. a company in voluntary liquidation.
As required by section 281 of the Companies Act 1955 the liquidator of Wakely and Son Ltd., which is being wound up voluntarily, doth hereby give notice that on Friday, 20 July 1962, at 10.30 a.m., there will be held at the office of Wilson, Beuth, and Associates, Accountants, Tennyson Street, Napier the final meeting of the company for the purpose of laying before it the account of the winding up and giving any explanation thereof.

NOTICE is hereby given that it was resolved on the 15th day of June 1962, as an extraordinary resolution, by an entry in the minute book of the above-named company signed as approved by section 362 (1) of the Companies Act 1955:
“1. That the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue in business and that it is advisable to wind up, and that the company be wound up voluntarily.
“2. That Cyril Louton Sturge, public accountant, of Christchurch, be appointed liquidator of the company.”
At the meeting of creditors of the company held on the 25th day of June 1962 the appointment of the said Cyril Louton Sturge as liquidator of the company was confirmed.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——
Fire Station Loan 1961, £12,500
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Inangahua County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £12,500 authorised to be raised by the Inangahua County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting a new fire station situate at Reefton, the said Inangahua County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one pence (0·1d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Inangahua County; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 15th day of June and the 15th day of December in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Electricity Loan 1962, £20,000
“That, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £20,000 authorised to be raised by the Invercargill City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of the extension of the electricity distribution system in the City of Invercargill and associated electrical work, the said Invercargill City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought five four pence (0·054d.) in the pound on the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property in the City of Invercargill; and that the said special rate shall be payable yearly on the 1st of July in each and every year during the currency of the loan being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Invercargill City Council held on Tuesday, 26 June 1962.
