HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 131 of the Public Works Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends
the Order in Council dated the 23rd day of July 1952 and
published in Gazette, 24 July 1952, Vol. II, page 1244, and
deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland as No.
13582, authorising the laying off of the street described in
the Schedule of the said Order in Council subject to a con-
dition as to the building line, by varying the condition as to
the building line imposed by the said Order in Council so
that no building or part of a building shall at any time be
erected on Lot 4, D.P. 39976, within a distance of 36 ft from
the centre line of the said street.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the
Governor-General of New Zealand, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs
the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, the
land being no longer required for the purpose for which it
was acquired.

ALL that piece of land containing 9 acres 3 roods 17 perches
situated in Block VI, Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District,

The Northern Side of Portion of Drummond Street, in the
City of Wellington, Exempted from the Provisions of Section
128 of the Public Works Act 1928

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves
of the resolution passed by the Wellington City Council on
the 12th day of March 1962 and set out in the First Schedule
hereto, in so far as it affects the side and portion of street
described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
The Wellington City Council, being the local authority having
control of the streets in Wellington City, by resolution declares
that the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act
1928 shall not apply to the northern side of the portion of
Drummond Street adjoining part Section 740, Town of Welling-
ton, being all (or part) of the land in certificates of title,
Volumes and folios Nos. 373/281; 373/280; 339/96 Ltd.;
339/104 Ltd.; and 329/277; Wellington Registry, as is more
particularly shown on the plan annexed hereto.
SECOND SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
The northern side of all that portion of street situated in the
City of Wellington, known as Drummond Street, fronting
part Section 740, Town of Wellington, parts being also Lot
4 and part Lot 5, D.P. 7950, and part Lot 2, D.P. 7453; as
the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
M.O.W. 5080 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works
at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets
apart the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto
as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a recreation ground
and meeting place for the common use and benefit of the
members of the Ngatihine tribe.
