continue in business and that it is advisable to wind up, and
that the company be wound up voluntarily.

WAIPUKURAU BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Waipukurau Borough Municipal Buildings Loan 1961, £13,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wai-
pukurau Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the principal and interest
on the Municipal Buildings Loan 1961, £13,000, authorised to
be raised by the Waipukurau Borough Council for the purpose
of erecting and furnishing Council chambers and offices, the
said Waipukurau Borough Council hereby makes and levies
a special rate of one-halfpenny (0·5d.) in the pound on all
rateable property in the Borough of Waipukurau (on the
basis of the unimproved value); such special rate to be an
annually-recurring rate for a term of 25 years or until the
loan is fully repaid.”

We hereby certify the above to be a true and correct copy
of a resolution passed at a special meeting of the Waipukurau
Borough Council on Thursday, 14 December 1961.

TEMUKA BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Temuka Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £52,000 authorised to be raised by the Temuka
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of constructing a sewage treatment works, extending
the sewerage reticulation, and advancing moneys to persons
for the purpose of connecting to the sewerage system, the
Temuka Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of
6·29d. (sixpence and twenty-nine hundredths of a penny) in
the pound upon the rateable value of all the rateable pro-
perty within the Borough of Temuka; and that the special
rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of
the loan and be payable yearly each and every year during
the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until
the loan is fully paid off.”

MAURICEVILLE COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Mauriceville County Council Rural Housing Loan 1962, £10,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Mauriceville County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of ten thousand pounds (£10,000) authorised to be
raised by the Mauriceville County Council under the above-
mentioned Act for making advances to farmers in terms of
the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Mauriceville County
Council hereby makes a special rate of thirty-seven two
hundreds of one penny (37/200d.) in the pound upon the
rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all
rateable property in the County of Mauriceville; and that
such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of
April in each and every year during the currency of the loan,
being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is
fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy and a
correct extract from the minutes of proceedings of the Maurice-
ville County Council at the meeting of the Mauriceville
County Council held at Masterton on the 19th day of June
1962.
