Cancellation of the Vesting in the Paparua County Council and Revocation of the Reservation Over Parts of Reserves and Change of Purpose of Part of a Reserve
PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Paparua and revokes the reservation over those parts of the reserves described in the First Schedule hereto for the purposes specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the said lands and, further, changes the purpose of that part of the reserve described in the Second Schedule hereto from a reserve for a public pound to a reserve for gravel purposes.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
PART Reserve 329, situated in Block IX, Christchurch Survey District: Area, 16·3 perches, more or less. (Gravel pit.)
Part Reserve 1378, situated in Block IX, Christchurch Survey District: Area, 23·7 perches, more or less. (Public pound.)

Licensing the Kaipara Cooperative Dairy Factory Co. Ltd., of Helensville, to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Bed of the River at Helensville Creek as a Site for a Jetty
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits the Kaipara Cooperative Dairy Factory Co. Ltd., of Helensville (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the river at Helensville Creek, as shown on plan marked M.D. 11271 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a jetty as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS
- This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
- The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of June 1962.
- The premium payable by the licensee shall be five pounds (£5) and the annual sum so payable five pounds (£5).

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Fire Services Act 1949, the Minister of Internal Affairs hereby gives notice of the following result of the elections held on 25 May 1962 by the Insurance Companies carrying on business in New Zealand to fill an extraordinary vacancy on the Fire Committee for the Roxburgh Urban Fire District.

Determination Under the Customs Acts—Currency Relationships With Other Countries
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Customs Acts Amendment Act 1934, the Minister of Customs hereby determines that, for the purposes of section 121 of the Customs Act 1913,—
- The New Zealand pound is deemed to be the currency in force in New Zealand.
- £(N.Z.)100 is deemed to equal £(sterling)100, £(Fiji)110, £(Tonga)125, and £(Australia)125.
- The relation of the currency in force in New Zealand to any other currency (except the pound sterling, the Fijian pound, the Australian pound, and the Tongan pound) shall be deemed to be the same as the relation of the pound sterling to that other currency.
This determination shall come into force on the 1st day of July 1962.

Specifying Rate of Orchard Levy Payable by Occupiers of Orchards (Notice No. Ag. 7545)
PURSUANT to section 3 of the Orchard Levy Act 1953, the Minister of Agriculture hereby declares that, commencing in the year 1963, the rate of levy to be paid in March of each year by every person who, on the 31st day of January in that year, is the occupier of an orchard, shall be £2 10s.
