Crown Land Set Apart for an Automatic Telephone Exchange
in the City of Rotorua and Previous Proclamation Revoked

COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 23rd day of December 1960 and published in Gazette, 19 January 1961, Volume I, page 99, setting apart Crown land for an automatic telephone exchange in the Borough of Rotorua, and hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for an automatic telephone exchange; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 25th day of June 1962.

SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of Crown land containing 1 rood situated in the City of Rotorua, being Section 13, Block XXXV, Town of Rotorua. Formerly all Crown lease, Volume 98, folio 118, Auckland Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 12th day of June 1962.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and section 15 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for providing access, for industrial and storage purposes in connection with forest produce, and for the utilisation of forest produce; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 25th day of June 1962.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 2 acres 1 rood 29·8 perches situated in Block XVI, Kaingaroa Survey District, Auckland R.D., being part Run 57; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 5507 (S.O. 40586) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow, edged yellow.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land now held for permanent State forest described in the First Schedule hereto and the Crown land described in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby set apart for the Edgecumbe-Murupara railway; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 25th day of June 1962.

FIRST SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 2 acres 2 roods 12·9 perches situated in Block XVI, Kaingaroa Survey District, Auckland R.D., being part Run 57; coloured yellow, edged yellow, on plan.

SECOND SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of Crown land containing 2 roods 32·6 perches situated in Block XVI, Kaingaroa Survey District, Auckland R.D., being part Kaingaroa No. 1 Block; coloured blue, edged blue, on plan.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 5507 (S.O. 40586) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Land Taken for an Electrical Substation in Block X, Otahuhu Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for an electrical substation, and shall vest in the Auckland Electric Power Board, as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 25th day of June 1962.

SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood 27·1 perches situated in Block X, Otahuhu Survey District, Auckland R.D., and being part Lot 13A, D.P. 13479, being part Clendon’s Grant; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 5332 (S.O. 43123) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Authorising the Laying Off of a Street off Denby Street in the Borough of Whangarei Subject to a Condition as to the Building Line

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 20th day of June 1962

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Whangarei Borough Council to permit the laying off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft, but not less than 40 ft, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on a subdivision of the land shown edged green on the plan marked M.O.W. 5484 referred to in the Schedule hereto within a distance of 28 ft from the side line of the said street.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

THE proposed street in the Borough of Whangarei containing by admeasurement 39·7 perches, more or less, being part Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 27835, being part Allotment 2, Parish of Whangarei; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 5484 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
