Appointment of Managing Ratepayers
Pursuant to section 61, clause 2, of the Counties Amendment Act 1961, notice is hereby given that Noel Allan Meek, of Morrisons Bush, Greytown, and Athol Charles Saywell, of Greytown, have been appointed Managing Ratepayers of the Moroa Water Race in place of Donald Leslie Inglye, deceased, and Wallace Guy King Wiggins, resigned.

HOROWHENUA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESULT OF POLL FOR PROPOSED LOAN
Pursuant to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of the ratepayers of the Wirokino Water Supply Special Rating Area, taken on 19 May 1962, on the proposal of the above-named local authority to raise a loan of £100,000 to be known as the Wirokino Water Supply Loan 1962, for the purpose of renewing, enlarging, and extending the high-pressure water supply mains in said district resulted as follows:
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was...... 244 The number of votes recorded against the proposal was... 363 The number of informal votes was....................... 11 I therefore declare that the proposal was rejected.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments.
Notice is hereby given that the Manawatu County Council intends to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, the lands described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of housing. A plan of the said lands is deposited at the public office of the Manawatu County Council at Sanson and is there open for inspection by all persons at all reasonable hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said lands are hereby required and called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands and to send such writing, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the Clerk of the Manawatu County Council.

Notice is hereby given that a plan of the said lands is open for inspection at the offices of the Otaki Borough Council, Main Street, Otaki.

Notice is hereby given that the Auckland City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, to execute a certain public work, namely, street, and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk at the Town Hall, Auckland, and it is open for public inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who have well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing and send the same, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk, Town Hall, Auckland.
