PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 11th day of June 1962.

Town and Country Planning Act 1953—Winton Borough District Scheme: Notice of Extension of Period of Effectiveness of Refusals and Prohibitions

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 38 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, notice is hereby given that the period of effectiveness of each refusal or prohibition made by the Winton Borough Council in the interests of the Winton Borough district scheme, which refusal or prohibition but for this notice would expire between the date of public notification hereof and the 1st day of May 1963 inclusive, is hereby extended to the said 1st day of May 1963.

Town and Country Planning Act 1953—Gisborne City District Scheme: Notice of Extension of Period of Effectiveness of Refusals and Prohibitions

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 38 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, notice is hereby given that the period of effectiveness of each refusal or prohibition made by the Gisborne City Council in the interests of the Gisborne City district scheme, which refusal or prohibition but for this notice would expire between the date of public notification hereof and the 1st day of November 1962 inclusive, is hereby extended to the said 1st day of November 1962.

Town and Country Planning Act 1953—Manukau County

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to subsection (1) of section 20 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, that the notice of approval granted to the Manukau County Council and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 12 December 1957, Volume III, page 2300, to prepare, recommend, and approve its district scheme by sections is hereby varied by deleting paragraph 1 of section 1 of such notice, and by substituting the following paragraph:

  1. The zoning or definition of areas to be used exclusively or principally for urban and rural purposes and the specified conditions (if any) to which each use whether predominant or conditional is subject.

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for rabbit board buildings and, further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Flaxbourne Rabbit Board, in trust, for that purpose.

Licensing Stillwater Properties Ltd. to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Bed of the Weiti River as a Site for a Jetty

———

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Stillwater Properties Ltd., of Auckland (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the Weiti River, as shown on plans marked M.D. 9656 and M.D. 11262 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining thereon a jetty as shown on the said plans, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

  2. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of June 1962.

  3. The premium payable by the licensee shall be five pounds (£5) and the annual sum so payable five pounds (£5).

Licensing the Waikato Valley Authority to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Bed of the Waikato River at Mercer as a Site for a Water Level Recorder Jetty

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits the Waikato Valley Authority (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the Waikato River at Mercer, as shown on plan marked M.D. 11207 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining a water level recorder jetty thereon as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, as far as applicable, apply hereto.

  2. The annual sum payable by the licensee shall be one shilling (1s.), payable on demand.

  3. The term of this licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of June 1962.

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits William Eric Connell, of Connell’s Bay (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include his executors, administrators, or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea in Connell’s Bay, Waiheke Island, as shown on plan marked M.D. 11268 deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining thereon a jetty as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
